I have produced many abstract works including figurative over the years, with my work evolving through experimentation of technique and a unique interpretation of my life experiences that are yet intimately connected through my portrayal.

I have created paintings some of which appear awash with water, others that ripple and bend, that you peer into and see no end. The journey does not end with the first viewing, as the depths of my paintings emerge over time and in different light.

I respectfully allow the viewer to interpret my work self-determinedly, purely because abstract art is completely subjective, and although I offer gentle inferences with their titles, I have always maintained that my paintings are reflections of my spirit and my love of nature and deem the painting successful if it elicits an emotional response.

I have been asked many times, “How do you know when you’ve finished a painting?” To which I have always replied, “When it says hello to me.”

Although I have successfully ventured into several exciting creative genres, my most deeply soulful and heartfelt artistic expression remains applying oil paint to canvas whereit is just me and my imagination and where time doesn’t exist.

The current 2025 body of eight paintings collectively titled LIGHTFORCE is a noble tribute to the inner strength of every person, especially those who have experienced a catastrophe of magnitude in their life, and the light within every one of us that shines on as something truly divine.
