Louise Vadasz (1961) was born in McLaren Vale on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula and grew up in the costal wine region.
Louise’s work has been selected for the Doug Moran Portrait Prize (2013), Finalist in the Royal Society Portrait Prize (2015), The Other Art Fair Sydney (2015), Finalist in the Fleurieu Food and Wine Art Prize (2016), Finalist in the Adelaide Parkland Art Prize (2018), and a Finalist in the 4th Royal Society of Arts Portrait Prize (2019).
Louise has recently enjoyed painting Still Life. Her style is heavy impasto with oil painted on transparent linen.
