Tahnae Davidson-Bartley

l’m a First Nations Kullilli (Queensland) and Wiradjuri (New South Wales) woman and textile artist who actively sources local materials for weaving.

My interest has stemmed from my childhood where l had the opportunity to watch and learn plant fibre use and weaving from elders in Nhulunbuy in the Northern Territory. As an artist, lm interested in linking the past with the present, conveying personal and family history and connections to country by utilising raffia, repurposed natural fibres or garden waste.

I deliver weaving workshops in my studio or come to you for groups.
