These artworks were inspired by some of the amazing young people I have worked with over the years and some very special family members.

It’s a reminder of the strength, beauty and creativity that lies within us all. Sometimes it’s difficult to see in others or to find within ourselves. But if you look for it and you will find it.

The patterns of the past rippling into the present and future. Create new patterns from the here and now. In the space between our thoughts...Bring yourself forth... Step into your light and shine in spite of the barriers.

A campsite on the Port Adelaide River is the birthplace of my Great Great Great Grandmother Ivaritji. Where Kaurna people lived during the summer months on Kaurna Land. This is also the area where I was born and raised. It's a deeply spiritual place for me.

This painting is an Acknowledgment to Elders/leaders in our community, Past, Present and Emerging. To those who inspire others to be the best version of themselves through their belief and care beyond themselves.

The ripples represent the interconnectivity between individuals and the impact our interactions have on each other and our environment.

It speaks about our journey and our path of experiences.

Visual Energy and the invisible dance between all things.

This painting is an Acknowledgment to my Nanna and my Nonna. Their journey of stolen generation and war. A story of being disconnected to finding reconnection, and because of them, making my journey possible.

It's a celebration of all our journeys and the people we meet along the way. And of the possibilities that are possible when we connect. The river is a symbol of being in the present moment. The place where we connect with ourselves and each other.

Nonna's Country. Umbria, Italy. (Taken during my art residency in 2019)

2019 Italy was my home for 3 months. I traveled to my Nonna's home region of Umbria with no plan except to live and paint each day. To focus on my art full time without distraction.

It was an amazing experience which reignited my passion for creating art. I had forgotten how much I loved art as a little boy growing up and how much it meant to me to be able to reconnect to that creative space where the world made sense again.

Between us there is space. Between people and country there is space. Between loved ones that have passed and those yet to come there is a space. A space where all is connected.

When we slow down our mind, it speaks to us in the silence. Between the clutter and noise.

In the space between thought and feeling. Becoming the observer and paying attention.

We take the journey back home, to the present.
