I first started to crochet mats as a practical way to reuse old sheets and quilt covers. The mats are perfect for small areas of high traffic capturing dirt and dust and adding a bright spot of colour.
The bowls were a happy accident when I changed the size of the fabric and hook, the curling from incorrect tension sparked something new. Handbags were a natural transition from there.
I find the whole process relaxing and challenging at the same time. I have recently moved to the beautiful beach side suburb of Aldinga where I love spending time walking on the beach and planning my garden.
