Linocut Printmaking on Paper & Fabric with Hanah Williams
Level: Beginner
In this hands-on workshop, learn how to design, carve and print an ‘ezy carve’ lino block by hand onto paper and fabric. You will take home a lino block, a set of carving tools, a collection of prints on paper, and the skills to continue carving and printing at home. All printmaking materials included in the cost of the workshop.
Please bring:
An image measuring 7x10cm
Gloves to prevent inky fingers
Apron/Protective shirt or wear clothing appropriate for an art workshop
A folder or bag to take prints home in (newsprint provided for interleaving)
Pen, pencil, eraser, note book for drawing & note taking, any other additional stationary items that you may require
Any additional papers or fabric that you may wish to print onto
Please note that this workshop incudes the use of shared materials such as rollers and hand printing tools. You will also be sharing the space with others including shared inking and printing stations.
