ART CLASSES FOR CHILDREN & TEENS WITH CLAIRE KENNETT

about our art classes for children and teenagers

Working from her studio within Fleurieu Arthouse, practising artist Claire Kennett offers your child the opportunity to develop and hone their artistic skills and to build positive, creative connections in a safe and caring environment.

Claire works closely with children between the ages of 6 and 16 in deliberately small groups so that each child benefits from her individual attention. Topics are varied and Claire ensures that students’ individual interests are catered for so that their skills can deepen alongside their personal preferences.

Students explore varied visual art themes including -

• self-expression

• light and shadow

• composition,

• colour theory

• experimentation

Topics include -

• Drawing and painting

• Printmaking

• Jewellery

• Sculpture

• Mixed media

Art classes cater to a range of groups including pre school, home school, beginner and intermediate. They run during South Australian public school terms in Claire’s studio at the Fleurieu Arthouse, 202 Main Road, McLaren Vale, South Australia.
