  • Fleurieu Arthouse 202 Main Road McLaren Vale, SA, 5171 Australia (map)

The Fleurieu Arthouse presents

A book talk by author John Weeks - discussion and presentation of Living Without Fingerprints - a point in time.

John Weeks spent 30 years of his life as an international winemaker working in over twenty

countries before an explosion changed his life in an instant, receiving burns to 75% of his body.

He was the world’s first burn recipient of a revolutionary process for skin regeneration now used for burns, reconstructive surgery and chronic wounds around the world.

Living without Fingerprints – A point in time is a photobiographical account which instills hope and

courage to all those affected by trauma by utilising mechanisms found in common with a wide range of

survivors. Many of these experiences have happened at a specific point in time and John has selected photographs from his travels that gives further depth to the story associated with it.
