Join Morgyn for an art experience during SALA
In this workshop you will spend 2.5 hours learning some of the foundational techniques of hand building, including how to make a spoon and a pinch pot.
Students will be demonstrated some basic techniques but then you will be able to freely create your own pieces. With support of the teacher you can let creativity take over or simply see where a pinch pot can take you - bring any ideas you have along! The session will be capped in size to ensure each student can receive one on one support if they wish.
By the end of the workshop you will have created a handful of pieces (3+ depending on what sizes you create) and will have an opportunity to decorate your pieces with underglaze paints. Your pieces will then be taken away to be fired, and then finished with a clear glaze.
Finished pieces will be available for collection approx.4-6 weeks later after they've been fired. Please only book this class if you are able to collect your pieces from the venue afterwards.
