Tuesday DAY TIME guided Painting and drawing ‘Wild Australian Natives’ (or your own theme)

Students to draw initially in charcoal, keeping it simple and looking at directional lines and basic shapes to work up a composition. Charcoal is a brilliant way to work up a very ‘sculptural’ feel by varying the intensity of line and smudging to help forms emerge from a white surface. We then begin to develop a palette, and colour paint becomes the next focus.
