Join us at Fleurieu Arthouse in McLaren Vale for a fun silver jewellery workshop creating a sterling silver bezel set ring, pendant or earrings.
In this silver workshop you will be going home with a unique piece of wearable art that you have hand crafted yourself. What could be more awesome?!
In the morning part of the session you will create a sterling silver ring band using basic silver smithing techniques.
After lunch, you will learn more advanced silver-smithing techniques to set a piece of sea glass, beach pebble, shell or cabochon into a hand shaped sterling silver bezel. Your silver setting can then be turned into a pendant, ring or earrings before completing the final set and polish.
Silversmithing techniques learnt in this session include hand piercing, forming, soldering, bezel setting, burnishing and polishing.
All materials are provided, including silver and worksheet. A selection of sea glass, pebbles and shells will be available for you to choose from, or bring your own special piece to set.
Lunch is provided. Please advise dietary requirements.
Please tie long hair back, wear closed shoes and bring your reading glasses if you need them.

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
There is no minimum age requirement , however we will be using flames, hammers and chemicals. A certain level of coordination and patience is required.

What's the refund policy?
Cancellations within 48 hours will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours will not receive a refund.
