Ian Burman

Ian Burman trained at the South Australian School of Art under Anne Newmarch. A career in teaching followed and Ian has taught in a number of S.A schools and also schools in the UK.

Finding inspiration in the landscape around him, particularly in derelict rural properties, Ian’s work has won numerous awards and is held in many private collections both in Australia and overseas.

I returned to painting in 2015 and since then I have focused mainly on landscape (primarily buildings in landscape).
