Ian Govan

Ian began his journey as a stained glass artist following his retirement.

A trip to Barcelona and an encounter with the mosaics and glass works of Antoni Gaudi spurred him on to further explore the medium of glass after returning to South Australia.

Ian finds peace in his work and the joy which his art brings to others is a constant inspiration.

Ian sees his work as a means to continue his personal growth as well as to bring beauty to the world.

“The work has also taught me to engage in free expression, as a means of expanding my late life view of things.”
