Tee is a multiple disciplinary artist experimenting with multiple mediums such as painting, sculpting, jewellery, hair and makeup. Tee’s subjects of focus are queer experiences, sentimentality life and death. Tee grew up in Melbourne and studied circus arts, studio arts and specialist makeup artistry before working as a makeup artist and wig stylist for theatre performers and drag queens which fostered a love and appreciation with the extravagant characters and personalities of the performance art world.
In 2019 Tee moved to Adelaide to be with family and study at the university of SA. Tee has been involved in many LGBTQIA events, from the marriage equality rallies to support in the miss gay and miss trans* pageants held across Australia. It is Tees aim to provide art for Queer people and offer an insight into the colourful world that Queer spaces create through community movement.
